Great rental experience. Friendly staff at pick-up and drop-off, no wait. I got to choose from three available cars (never experienced that before). The car was almost new, very clean and drove beautifully. It was the most worry-free car rental I have experienced. Thanks!

The staff at Alamo were exceptional. Friendly and helpful. Really went out of their way to assist. They are keepers. Look after them.

Everything was great except for the underlying smell of cigarettes that appeared an hour into the ride. As a non-smoker, I had to wash everything I had in the car before I could put it away. The car was comfortable.

All three of the team members I worked with gave stellar customer service. I have been blown away by the care given by this team.

The pick-up was amazingly confusing ! A huge and shameful mistake on their behalf created big trouble ! Never again!

Good customer service, great vehicle and wonderful trip

Easy pick up and drop off. Really liked the fact I was able to pick any SUV I wanted. I also loved the fact that attendants we're in front of the building helping people and answering questions.

Tried to double charge me to switch to gas from electric said was policy. Went to Sixt rentals next door and saved $200

Unexpected fees that weren’t disclosed up front when booking online and then having to pay more when picking up.

I got an EV that was very close to being fully out of battery. I also didn’t want an EV and they should be more specific about the type if cars we would get.

Overcharged because they did not check their return key box and charged for an extra day. I had the car back a hour and half early. Still not fixed.

I reserved a car at 4:30 p.m, for pickup at 5:00 p.m. I was called at 4:50 p.m. to let me know that there were no cars available. Why does your system allow you to book a reservation when there are no cars available? Unacceptable.

Plane was full day late and yet no price discount for 1 less day. Also took 30 min to get my car due to agent challenges

I reserved a full size SUV. Then when I received the email the day before pick up, it said standard size SUV. I called them and they said they didn’t have any Full size and all they could offer was standard size at the same price as a full size SUV. They suggested I go to a different Avis location. I was flying into RDU, why would I go to another location other than the airport?

My experience was excellent until I needed customer service after I got home and realized I left my glasses in the car. The pickup was awesome, the agent was excellent in getting us a car - can’t say enough good about him. And drop off was a breeze. However, I forgot my prescription sunglasses in the car after I got home. I immediately tried to call AVIS to see if they could help. No one was available Sunday night, so I called Monday morning and when I selected “lost and found” I received an error saying they couldn’t connect me and try later. I tried several times Monday into Tuesday morning with the same results. So I called a different number and they gave me the local Concord, NC number and I got through. The lady was very helpful and said she would call me back but as of 9:45pm Tuesday night I haven’t heard from her. I certainly hope my glasses can be recovered for me.

Waiting times for my car was a bit ridiculous. Took more than an hour.

Off airport premises. Closed at 5:45 .our plane landed at 5:19. ON A FRIDAY!! Never connect. Had to find a different rental.

Had to call twice to get them to answer the phone when I arrived. They said they'd send the shuttle and I'd see it in 10-15 minutes. Waited over 20 minutes, and no one arrived. I tried to call again, and no one answered. Gave them until I downloaded and checked Uber & Lyft to come. They never showed up and I ended up using Lyft to take me to the office and using ride share during my trip.

good on gas. sticker on windshield blocked some of the driver's view, empty cans in backseat, they demanded proof of my own personal car insurance or buy insurance from them and also demanded to see proof of my flight out BEFORE i could take the car. Nothing about this was on their website. upon return, we called as per instructions but no one picked up for 45 minutes. finally called corporate office and they told me to wait until the shuttle swings by, which it did. I called the rental office once more and FINALLY someone picked up but shuttle took 30 minutes for a 10 minute ride to the airport. At the drop off site, 12 other people were waiting for a ride to their flights. Five of them were in danger of missing their flights and took an uber. Badly run business, intrusive rental criteria, sloppy maintenance to the point of being dangerous (windshield obstruction). We can't recommend using this car rental company to anyone else for any reason, as their service is sub-par across the board.
